  Student Projects

My teaching encourages collaboration and applied projects.

As a part-time instructor at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, I secured public commission opportunities for sculpture students. In 2006, students received commission awards from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to place sculptures and installations on the Hank Aaron State Trail. In 2007, students competed for commission awards from the Riverwalk District downtown.

As a faculty member at the Herron School of Art and Design, I managed collaborations with the Indianapolis Museum of Art (IMA). In 2008, students presented performances and sculptures in On Procession, a neighborhood parade and museum exhibition. In 2010, students participated in the inaugural exhibition of the IMA's 100 Acres art and nature park.
